Fans can avoid traffic, parking hassles and get an early start on tailgating while riding the train
Congratulations to the San Francisco 49ers, who will play the Green Bay Packers in the upcoming NFC Conference Championship game on Sunday, January 19, 2020. To help fans get to the game, the Capitol Corridor has scheduled a special “game-day train” to Levi’s® Stadium.
With direct service to Levi’s Stadium at the Santa Clara-Great America Station and a 50% off Winter Weekends fare deal, the Capitol Corridor train is the best way to get in to and out of Levi’s Stadium. In addition to avoiding the stress of traffic and parking, fans who take the train will be able to get an early start on tailgating by enjoying drinks and snacks available in the train’s Café Car.

NFC Conference Championships

The San Francisco 49ers are set to play the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Conference Championship game on Sunday, January 19, at 3:40 PM at Levi’s Stadium. We have scheduled an extra train (in addition to our regularly scheduled trains that day) to provide service to and from the game. The special “game-day train” will make all stops between Sacramento (SAC) and Santa Clara-Great America (GAC); the train will not serve the Santa Clara-University and San Jose-Diridon stations. Tickets are available for purchase in the booking system, and details are as follows:
TRAIN 947: Sacramento to Santa Clara-Great America
Depart Sacramento at 11:50 AM, arrive in Santa Clara at 2:28 PM
Regularly scheduled Train 729 departs Auburn at 8:01 AM and arrives in Santa Clara at 11:37 AM for those who want to arrive at the stadium extra early!
TRAIN 950: Santa Clara-Great America to Sacramento
Depart Santa Clara at 7:45 PM, arrive in Sacramento at 10:23 PM
Regularly scheduled Train 744 departs Santa Clara-Great America at 6:53 PM and arrives in Sacramento at 9:44 PM for fans who might need to leave the stadium early. The last eastbound train to depart is Train 748, which leaves Santa Clara-Great America at 9:23 PM.
As a reminder, the Capitol Corridor has a flexible ticket policy, which means you can use your ticket on any train without penalty within one year of your original travel date, as long as the itinerary is the same and it meets any promotional terms and conditions.
