From December 6 through December 31, 2010, Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) crews will be performing infrastructure work near the Emeryville Station, between Oakland Jack London Square and Berkeley stations.
Delays are expected to be minimal; therefore a bus bridge or schedule revisions are not necessary during this project. UPRR will be replacing switch ties, which won’t require crews or equipment to be on the tracks to complete the work. UPRR plans to do all of the work during the windows of time in between train traffic along the route in an effort to keep potential delays for passenger trains to a minimum.
