Due to New Year’s Eve events in San Francisco, many of the streets around the Ferry Building and in the Fisherman’s Wharf area will be blocked beginning at 8:00 PM on Monday, December 31, 2012 through 4:00 AM on Tuesday, January 1, 2013. As a result, motorcoach connections to/from the following trains will be temporarily affected by the street closures: 547, 548, 549 and 551.
Here are details about the New Year’s Eve temporary bus stops:
- The Ferry Building (SFC) stop will be moved to Spear & Mission Streets. Spear & Mission is two blocks west from the Ferry Building. Station staff will be on site at the Ferry Building to direct passengers to the alternate stop at Spear & Mission Streets.
- The Pier 39 (SFW) and Hyatt (SFF) stops will have no service after 8:00 PM. Instead, passengers who normally use the Pier 39 stop should use the F- Market Streetcar or walk 20 minutes to Spear and Mission Streets. Passengers who normally use the Hyatt stop should walk one block south to Spear and Mission Streets.
