Train Service at Roseville Station to be Replaced by Bus Bridge February 4 & 5

Due to track maintenance work, Capitol Corridor Train 729 between Auburn and San Jose will NOT stop and provide service at the Roseville Station train platform on the weekend of February 4 and 5. Instead, passengers will be transported by a bus bridge from Roseville to Sacramento, where they will join Train 729. In order to connect with Train 729 in Sacramento on time, the bus will depart the Roseville Station 30 minutes earlier than Train 729’s regularly scheduled departure. Read more about this Roseville Station service adjustment here.

From the Blog: Capitol Corridor Sponsors Sacramento Elementary School for Festive Ice Skating Session at Downtown Sacramento Holiday Ice Rink

During the holiday season, the Capitol Corridor sponsored Arnold Adreani Elementary School (part of the Elk Grove Unified School District) for a festive ice skating session at the Downtown Sacramento Holiday Ice Rink. This is the second time the Capitol Corridor has sponsored an elementary school for an ice skating session as part of our community outreach along with spreading holiday cheer. Check out our latest blog post to see pictures from the event.

Rider Tip: Subscribe to Service Alerts for Train Delays or Disruptions

The best way to find out about service delays or disruptions is by subscribing to Capitol Corridor’s Service Alerts. If you’re not receiving Service Alerts yet, you can easily add this topic to your subscriber preferences by accessing our eNews log-in page. Type in the email address you used originally to subscribe to CC Rail Mail and hit “Save.” On the next screen, click “Subscriber Preferences” and you will see a list of the topics to which you are currently subscribed. Click “Add Subscriptions” at the bottom, select “Service Alerts” and hit “Save.” If you would like to receive Service Alerts via SMS/Text Message as well as email, you will need to return to the log-in page and change the subscription type to “SMS/Text Message,” type in your phone number, and hit “Save.” We issue service alerts on weekdays only between 7am and 9pm and do not send alerts related to connecting bus service, or on weekends and holidays, unless there is a major disruption.
