1. Fare Increase- Effective November 13, 2007

Effective November 13, there will be a 3% fare increase for all
Capitol Corridor travel. We don’t like increasing fares any more than
you do, but this relatively modest increase will help supplement the
limited financial support we receive from the state budget allocation.
However, with the regular, relatively small fare increases we make,
we are able to continue to deliver a quality service to you. Our
fares, especially the multi-ride ticket prices, are more than
competitive with costs for auto travel on a cost-per-mile basis, and
we want to keep them that way. Every dollar of increased revenue is
reinvested into your service.

2. Veterans Day/ Thanksgiving Week Service

Capitol Corridor will operate on a regular Weekday schedule on
Monday, November 12, Veterans Day. Capitol Corridor will run a
Weekend/Holiday schedule on Thursday, November 22 and Friday, November
23, 2007.
