“Outside My Window” Photo Contest Winners Announced

We would like to thank everyone who participated in the “Outside My Window” Photo Contest! We had over 200 outstanding submissions, and after a two-week voting period, five images came out on top with the most votes. The winners of the photo contest are: Maciej Gryko (Grand Prize), Nicholas Harvey (2nd Prize), Craig Kuwahara (3rd Prize), and Boris Lipkin (4th and 5th Prize). Both the Grand Prize and 2nd Prize are Lake Tahoe getaways, and all prizes include train travel on the Capitol Corridor. View all the winning photos here. Tips for Stress-Free Thanksgiving Travel, Plus Holiday Service Info

Thanksgiving is our busiest time of year, and we’ve put together some Travel Tips to ensure you have a smooth trip. As a reminder, we will be operating on a Weekend/Holiday schedule on Thanksgiving Day, November 24, and the day after Thanksgiving, November 25. We’ll also be running extra connecting bus trips for service to/from Cal Poly, Chico State, and Humboldt State before and after the holiday. Visit the Café Car and make the most of your time aboard the Capitol Corridor. If you’re new to the Capitol Corridor, or it has been a while since you’ve traveled with us, you may not have seen the great new meals available in the Café Car. Fresh salads, flavorful sandwiches, and favorites like the cheese-filled pretzels are right at your fingertips. What’s more, you can raise a glass and get into the holiday spirit with a delicious cocktail, cold beer, or glass of wine from the Café Car. Go ahead, treat yourself! (Café Car Service is not available on Trains 549 and 550.)

Disney’s The Lion King Now Playing At SHN Orpheum Theatre In San Francisco
