Enjoy Discounted Drinks During “Cappy Hour”
To thank all of our fantastc riders for taking Capitol Corridor, we’ve decided to have our own version of “Happy Hour”, called “Cappy Hour”, on all trains. On Wednesday, October 22 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., alcoholic beverages will be discounted $3, and non-alcoholic beverages will be $1 off. Head to the Café Car any time between 4:00 and 8:00 p.m. for your discounted drinks.

Both the Oakland Raiders and the Cal Bears are in town this weekend, and Capitol Corridor can get you to both games before kickoff! Watch Cal against UCLA at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, and then head to the Coliseum on Sunday to see the Raiders take on the Arizona Cardinals at 1:25 p.m. Train tickets to both games are 25% off, or small groups can take advantage of our Take 5 online offer!

Bay Area Commuter Benefits Program a Win-Win for Employers and Employees
Under a new, regional commuter benefits ordinance, Bay Area employers with 50+ employees are required to offer their employees one or more commuter benefit programs, such as a pre-tax transit benefit, transit subsidy, ridesharing program, or other alternative means of getting to work. In addition to the potential tax savings for both employers and their employees, the Commuter Benefits Program aims to improve air quality and decrease emissions in the Bay Area by reducing single-occupant driving. The deadline for employers to comply with the program has been extended to October 31, 2014.
