September is Rail Safety month, and we would like to remind passengers to be safe and alert at stations and railroad crossings. Stay well behind the yellow safety lines and make sure to cross the tracks only at designated pedestrian crossings when it is completely safe to do so (look both ways!). Your safety is our #1 priority, and we are doing our part to keep the rails a safe way to travel as well. Spread the word to your friends and family, so they can also BE TRACK SMART. Read more…

Last month, Capitol Corridor and Amtrak implemented a ticket scanning test on buses between San Francisco and Emeryville to ensure that 10-ride tickets were being scanned correctly. Staff had discovered a software problem earlier this year that resulted in rides being deducted incorrectly. The results of the scanner testing were so successful that staff has decided to continue scanning all tickets on transbay buses, and we do not anticipate further issues for passengers.
