The California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) at San Luis Obispo is having its annual Open House for newly admitted students on Friday and Saturday, April 15 and 16, 2011. Due to many thousands of additional people on campus that day resulting in pedestrian and traffic congestion, Amtrak Thruway buses will not be able to access the Cal Poly Thruway stop (SLP).
The following bus connections will not stop at SLP on Friday or Saturday, April 15 or 16, 2011:Â

 Passengers may use the Thruway stop at the Amtrak station, SLO, which is about 2 mi (3 km) south of Cal Poly Thruway stop (SLP).
