Tech Museum of Innovation
The Tech Museum of Innovation in San Jose is a museum focused on technology - how it works and the way that it is changing every aspect of the way we work, live, play and learn. Come see what YOU can do with today's technology. Star in and direct your own movie, make an earthquake or catch a movie in the 295 seat IMAX Hackworth Dome Theatre with a hemispherical dome screen spanning 82 feet in diameter!
Ride the Capitol Corridor to The Tech and forget about the hassles and expense of driving and parking. Take the train to the San Jose Diridon Station, walk East on San Fernando Street (approximately 5 blocks), turn right on Market Street and walk 1 block. The Tech is on the right corner at 201 South Market Street. On weekdays, there is a free morning and afternoon shuttle service between the station and downtown. For schedule information, see the San Jose Downtown Area Shuttle (DASH) website.
The museum is open daily from 10 am to 5 pm. For more information and tickets call The Tech at (408) 294-8324 or visit thetech.org.
