Knit Your Way To Santa Clara For The Stitches West Convention!

Stitch 'n Ride

Thank you to all the knitters and crocheters who rode the 2008 Stitch 'n Ride special train!

Knitting for a Cause!

Every year onboard our annual Stitch 'n Ride train, Capitol Corridor gives out door prize tickets for fabulous prizes generously donated by our sponsors. This year, we teamed up with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, (LLS) to promote knitting for a good cause by hosting a chemo cap drive to provide warm hats for patients currently undergoing chemotherapy. Most of this year's Stitch 'n Ride passengers participated in the drive and we are proud to say that the Stitch 'n Ride train donated 370 chemo caps to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society when we arrived at the Santa Clara Station. Read more and see photos later this week!

We would like to thank all our wonderful sponsors, especially the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Team In Training, Chronicle Books and Craft: Magazine, who generously contributed all the great items for the goody bags, and the fabulous prize giveaways. Other sponsors include: Sierra Knitting Company, Fibers, Auburn Needleworks, Knitting Diva, Carolina Homespun, Jordana Paige, Sacramento River Cats, Yarndogs, Article Pract, Stitch Diva Studios, Knitique, White Lies Designs and Babetta’s Yarn and Gifts. Please support our sponsors, as it is their generosity that helps make this event special.

We truly appreciate the support you have given to Capitol Corridor's Stitch 'n Ride train and hope you'll join us next year! Sign up for our KnitList to hear about more Stitch ‘n Ride events.
